Dear Internet Marketer,
Despite
what you may have been told, Internet Marketing is in many ways like
any other
business. You need products or services
that you are going to sell to buyers for a profit.
Forget any
ideas of instant profits, overnight millionaire income and money
falling into your lap - with or without "The Secret"!
It takes know-how, a system and
a deal of persistent work.
And
it is a lot easier if you don't have to 'go it alone!'
We've
all been bombarded by 'experts' with claims and counter claims, tugging
you this way and that, extracting your dollars at every turn.
And that fills their pockets and empties yours!
Well I got fed-up with all the hype and decided to follow a
basic, commonsense approach.
My
reasoning went something like this:
If
I was
starting, say
a conventional landscaping service, I would need to
gather a set of tools and resources. I would need start up
capital.
Also, I would be looking at spending on advertising, bookkeeping, etc
and most importantly:
a
business plan.
A business plan
that would outline my goals and show how I would achieve them.
I would need to have everything ready to go before my
phone started ringing.
Yes, I would need
a system. Preferably following someone who had
already done it before. It just takes too much time and expense to
learn by trial and error.
SIDEBAR:
Why would I be foolish enough to just start an internet
marketing business on a whim just because I saw an ad
promising me wealth for joining a company, stocking my garage with
pills and paying a monthly fee?
Yet many people do. They find an opportunity and sign up to it because
it sounds good and promises to fulfill a dream.
You and I both know that
without thought and planning, my efforts would most
likely fail, like so many others.
Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with many of the income
programs available, but the average person does not know how to make
them work.
Along
came Rob, a retired school teacher, a fellow Aussie, who was
about to teach me all I needed

Once I saw the remaining parts, I knew that
if he could do it then I sure could, and so
can you!
And once I
grasped the complete system I realised that this could be applied to marketing any business.
